Hi, my name is Tarek. Allow me to share a bit about myself with you.
I graduated from Macquarie University in 2004 with a Bachelor of Chiropractic Science, majoring in anatomy, physiology and chiropractic technique. In 2006, I completed my Masters of Chiropractic degree again at Macquarie University. It is paramount I stay up to date with the latest research and techniques, therefore I have undertaken numerous seminars in sports medicine, dry needling, rehabilitation and paediatrics. In 2010, I completed a year-long certificate in Chiropractic Paediatrics and in 2018 I complete a 2-year intense Diploma in Chiropractic Paediatrics.
Treating paediatrics is a passion of mine and seeing the amazing results is what continually drives me to come to work each and every single day.
I have been privileged to work alongside and learn from some of Australia’s finest Chiropractors. In addition, I have been fortunate to work alongside many medical doctors and specialists. The wealth of information I have absorbed has allowed me to provide exceptional care for my patients. During my student years, I worked as a chiropractic assistant for the NBL Western Razorbacks Basketball team. This gave me a great insight into professional sports chiropractic as well as invaluable experience which helped shape me up for the person I am today.
I have also been very fortunate to meet and treat elite sports people and movie stars. Among the many famous people I have treated include NSW Origin and Canterbury legend Trent Hodkinson as well as movie personality from Winners and Losers and All Saints Virginia Gay
Away from caring for patients, you’ll find me spending time with my lovely wife and three children. I also enjoy cycling, playing golf, oz tag and attending regular seminars.
I am also pleased to have been Secretary for the Australian Lebanese Medical Association, Founder and President of the Tumut Cycle Classic, President of the Sydney Muslim Cyclists and inaugural President of the Malek Fahd Islamic School Alumni.
